OVERVIEW. The Hatridge Lab located in the Old Engineering Hall building at the University of Pittsburgh underwent renovations to provide a new state of the art lab space for students studying Physics and Astronomy. Inside the lab you will find a fabrication area with a custom aluminum evaporator (Plassys – Electron Beam Evaporator) for Josephson junction fabrication and a measurement area with a full suite of microwave characterization tools and dilution refrigerators.
